Summer Place 406 Unforgettable Gulf Views! , Fort Walton Beach, Florida Vacation Rental by Owner

We took 2 adult moms and 6 teens on Spring Break to Summer Place #406 and it was fabulous. It was late March so some days were still a little chilly but the location was great. Summer Place is a smaller complex so the beach and pool were not crowded. The free beach chairs were an awesome life saver and there were extra chairs and boogie boards under the bunk and guest beds and laundry room. Even a small styrofoam cooler. But bring your own beach towels, none there. The view was incredible from the large balcony. The condo was nice and clean and large enough for 8. All the kitchen supplies and appliances you needed to make dinner all week. There were a few games and books too, but we brought several of our own. Plenty of parking. Two elevators in a small complex, so never any waiting. Trash shoot was conveniently across the hall. Staff downstairs at front desk were helpful and lots of free brochures and maps in lobby with things to do in the area. The complex was one of the first on the island so easy to find and go back out to the mainland. Grocery store was only 5 minutes away back over the bridge In Fort Walton, where we did most of our essentials shopping. There are several yummy restaurants and a few shops at the Pier area on the island. You can actually walk the beach to them. Destin was only about a 10-15 minute scenic drive with lots of restaurants and shopping. There was a M-F public bus system that goes to Destin or Fort Walton and back, hourly, for only a couple dollars if you don't have a car. We didn't use it, but was told it's wonderfull and meets at the Pier area. We will definitely stay at Summer Place again. And Kim has several units there to choose from. She was amazing to work with. She is a small "mom and pop" type rental agency, ran in her own name, so I was a little skeptical at first, but we talked on the phone, and she eased my mind. My family loves Summer Place. Unit 406 is beautifully decorated and was clean when we arrived. It was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. I always rent from Kim Johnson. She is awesome to work with. Very quick to respond and always pleasant.

You won’t go wrong renting this Awesome room!! It’s very clean and beautiful! What a spectacular view from the balcony every morning looking out at the ocean drinking our morning coffee!! We’re already counting down to next year when rent from Jack and Denise for the 3rd year! You can’t go wrong renting from this condo!

Great view of the ocean! Condo was equipped with everything we needed including beach chairs and toys! Denise was great to work with and made the renting process easy!

After months in our house due to covid19, we needed a BREAK and something new to look at! Denise and Jack's condo was the PERFECT spot! Due to feeling nervous still about being out, we didn't eat out even once... although it was very close by. We decided to just enjoy the condo... cook in... love the beach... and relax! The condo was spotlessly clean, had everything we needed to cook every single night, the grills downstairs were awesome and so easy to use... the free beach chairs were fantastic! One note about this... other complexes along the beach didn't have reserved seating! When I walked in the mornings... I saw people STANDING IN THEIR SPOT on the sand waiting for chairs to be set up so they could set their stuff on them. CRAZINESS. We had two chairs every day with our name on them... no waiting or rushing down at 7am. This alone was worth the stay! We used the extra "at the water" chairs to sit with our feet in the water when we wanted full sun... so nice. And great to have the umbrella for some shade later. Our view was fantastic... we played tons of games out on the balcony and loved watching people below. It was a perfect trip and if we come to Ft. Walton again... we are calling Denise and Jack!

Summer Place 406 is our home away from home! My famyhas been staying here for almost 20 years. We ha e made many memories and look forward to many more.

I have stayed at many of the condos on Fort Walton beach and I highly recommend this unit! Very well maintained, very good view of the ocean, excellent beach service, and was a pleasure doing business with Denise. Convenience to across the street restaurants is a plus. Give it a try!!

This is our 3rd time renting from the Tucker's. Our family of 5 loves it here! The condo is clean and updated with everything you need! They really put an effort into making things easy, comfortable and entertaining. The view is spectacular! The traffic is minimal and grocery stores, target and even a Sams Club is near by. We rented two other units previous to finding this one and there was no comparing!! We call this place a "little piece of heaven"❤️
